As we advance into the competitive tournament season for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, it is important that we release errata to clarify the cards to match the designer intent in Japan.
These errata are in effect immediately and are reflected in the official Card-Dex entries for the expansions in which these cards appear.

Gengar (Stormfront, 18/100)
Fainting Spell
Once during your opponent's turn, if Gengar would be Knocked Out by damage from an attack, you may flip a coin. If heads, the Attacking Pokémon is Knocked Out.

Roserade is receiving errata for its Poké-Body, Hidden Poison. Hidden Poison affects your opponent's Attacking Pokémon, not your Defending Pokémon.

The correct card text should read:

Roserade (Stormfront, 23/100)
Hidden Poison
If Roserade is your Active Pokémon and is damaged by an opponent's attack (even if Roserade is Knocked Out), the Attacking Pokémon is now Poisoned.

The cards, with their errata, are listed below.

Tangrowth (Diamond & Pearl—Great Encounters, #10)
Power Whip
Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage for each Energy from basic Energy cards attached to Tangrowth to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Unown G (Diamond & Pearl—Great Encounters, #57)
Guard Poké-Power
Once during your turn (before your attack), if Unown G is on your Bench, you may discard all cards attached to Unown G and attach Unown G to 1 of your Pokémon as a Pokémon Tool card. As long as Unown G is attached to a Pokémon, prevent all effects of attacks, excluding damage, done to that Pokémon by your opponent's Pokémon.

Wormadam Sandy Cloak (Diamond & Pearl—Secret Wonders, #42)
Sandy Cloak Poké-Body
Prevent all effects of attacks, excluding damage, done to Wormadam Sandy Cloak by your opponent’s Pokémon.

Ariados (Diamond & Pearl—Mysterious Treasures, #20)
Sticky Poké-Body
The Retreat Cost for each player’s Pokémon (excluding any Ariados) is more.

Exeggutor (Diamond & Pearl—Mysterious Treasures, #24)
String Bomb
Flip a coin for each Energy from basic Energy cards attached to Exeggutor and to the Defending Pokémon. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads.

Manectric (Diamond & Pearl—Mysterious Treasures, #28)
Lightning Twister
Does 20 damage times the amount of Energy from basic Energy cards attached to Manectric.

Three cards recently released are receiving errata so that they will play as intended. This will have little effect on the current play environment, focusing on a nuance between Energy and Energy cards. In each case, "Energy" should refer to "Energy cards."

The cards, with their errata, are listed below.

Magmortar LV.X— Mysterious Treasures, #123
Flame Bluster
Discard 2 {Fire} Energy cards attached to Magmortar. Choose 1 of your opponent’s Pokémon. This attack does 100 damage to that Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) During your next turn, Magmortar can’t use Flame Bluster.

Entei— Secret Wonders, #4
Blaze Roar
Does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Flip a coin. If tails, discard 2 {Fire} Energy cards attached to Entei.

Electivire— Secret Wonders, #25
Discharge
Discard all {Lightning} Energy attached to Electivire. Flip a coin for each {Lightning} Energy card you discarded. This attack does 50 damage times the number of heads.

Banette is receiving errata for its first attack, Ghost Head. Ghost Head can’t cause Banette to Knock Out itself…the attack has to leave Banette with at least 10 HP.

Banette— Secret Wonders, #23
Ghost Head attack
Put as many damage counters as you like on Banette. (You can’t Knock Out Banette.) Put that many damage counters on the Defending Pokémon.

Electrode is receiving errata for the card to reflect that its Poké-Power can trigger when any attack Knocks Out Electrode, not just during its owner’s turn.

Electrode— Secret Wonders, #26
Energy Shift Poké-Power
If Electrode would be Knocked Out by damage from an attack, you may use this power. Electrode isn’t discarded. Instead, attach it as an Energy card to 1 of your Pokémon. While attached, this card is a Special Energy card and provides every type of Energy but provides only 1 Energy at a time. (Has no effect other than providing Energy.)

The errata for both cards goes into effect immediately.
